Archos 80 G9 Android Tablet Price Specifications & Review

Most of Samsung's and Apple's tablets the Archos 80 G9 is not quite as appealing and the form factor is definitely not among its advantages. Its thick frame makes it look as if it is a 10-inch tablet rather than 8-inch. With this size and dimensions it probably competes with the Kindle Fire tablet.
The build quality of the Archos 80 G9
Archos 80 G9 is powered by 1GHz ARM CORTEX A9 processor but you can find this tablet with up to 1.5 GHz processors from the same model line.
The storage space available in the Archos 80 G9 tablet is either 8 or 16 GB of flash storage. There is also a hard drive based version of this tablet with massive 250 GB of HDD memory.
As for the display, it is 8-inch multi-touch screen with maximum resolution of 1024 x 768. You also get a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.
Archos 80 G9 doesn't have the widest range of connection options but it has WiFi and Bluetooth on board.
Archos 80 G9 comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and will cost you around £70. Let me just remind you that this tablet is on the market for quite some time and its price was much higher (£200).
